Terms of service
1. Who these terms are with
The GetParlix service is provided by Micronix System Pvt. Ltd. of Kolkata, West Bengal, India (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms. Contact info@getparlix.com with any question about them.
2. Accounts
We create accounts after a demo, and there is no self-service signup. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and your assistant embed key confidential, for the accuracy of the information you give us, and for everything done under your account.
3. Trials, plans and payment
Accounts begin with a 14-day trial covering the chatbot. Voice and appointment booking are enabled on a paid plan. There is no payment gateway in the product: invoicing and payment are arranged directly with us, and your plan is enabled or extended once payment is agreed. Plans run for a fixed period and are extended on renewal; there is no automatic charge and no minimum term.
4. Usage limits
Each account has daily and monthly usage limits, measured by processing volume and cost rather than by a number of conversations. Voice sessions additionally have a maximum length and a limit on how many can run at once. When a limit is reached the assistant stops responding until the next period or until the limit is raised. Current usage is visible in your dashboard.
5. Your content
The documents and text you upload remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, index and process that material in order to operate your assistant. We do not use it to train models and we do not make it available to other accounts. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe someone else's rights
- handle regulated data we have not agreed to support, including protected health information, full payment card details, or government identity numbers
- impersonate another business, or present the assistant as a human being
- attempt to access another account's data, or to circumvent usage limits or domain restrictions
- resell the service without a written agreement with us
7. What the assistant is, and isn't
The assistant produces answers from the material you provide. It is not a professional adviser and its output is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. It can be wrong. You are responsible for the material you give it, for the rules and restricted topics you configure, and for reviewing what it tells your customers. We strongly recommend reading transcripts regularly, particularly in the first weeks.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running and available, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we do not publish an uptime figure we cannot evidence. The service depends on third parties for language processing, speech recognition and speech generation, and an outage at one of them may interrupt it. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.
9. Changes to the service
We add and change features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time by not renewing, and can ask us to close your account and delete your data. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other customers at risk, or where fees agreed with us are unpaid. We will give notice unless the risk requires acting immediately.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or business, or for loss arising from decisions made on the basis of an assistant's output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page and tell account holders about material changes.
